Practice Philosophy:

To provide each client with the highest quality care in a comfortable, warm, & safe space. That every massage is customized to suit the needs of each client. To provide a great and easy going experience from first initial contact until the client leaves.

Why I do what I do:

Massage therapy is my passion. I was honestly called to it long before I even knew why. I love helping people in a deeper way than just the relaxation part of massage. I love being able to offer people a safe place to come and be them, a place to allow people to heal, whether that be physical, emotional, mental, or whatever it may be. I do this because I have my own personal success story with massage but also, I have seen what it has done for others. I do this because this is the gift I was given, along with the passion, to help others thrive.

A little bit about me:

So let's get a little personal because let's face it, massage is a personal experience. You are entrusting your massage therapist to listen to your concerns and address them properly and maintain their professional integrity. You are entrusting us with yourself.

I moved to Kansas City (I am a Michigan native. Go Blue!!!) in January 2010. By April of 2010 I was enrolled at Heritage College for massage therapy. At that time I had an almost 1 yr old daughter. I graduated from school in September 2011, with almost every mod on the deans list and my second child (yes I am a mother of 2 beauties) in tow. In January 2012, I received my Massage Therapy license, just one month before having my second daughter. Talk about hard. Try taking a 2 hour long test and staying awake at the same time. Needless to say, I took about a year off to myself. In about April 2013, I got my first job as a massage therapist at a corporate chain business and a few months after that I moved to another. I stayed there for about 2 yrs before deciding to forge my way into entrepreneurship in August 2015. Which brings me to now having started my own small business, Embraced Healing Massage & Bodyworks, LLC, in October of 2018.

So enough of all the timeline stuff. Let's get to things I like/love.

As I mentioned earlier, I am a mother of 2 lovely daughters. They are basically my world. I am a dog lover (really I love animals all together) and am also a dog mom of 2. I'm definitely into health and well-being (working out, nourishing the body), nature, basketball, astrology a little, & energy work (such as Reiki). Most of the time while I am home, you can catch the TV binge watching me while I am working or listening to music and maybe doing a crazy dance. Especially if my daughters are in the same room. I love plants, indoor and outdoor, and aspire to have a home full of plants as well as my own garden at some point although I am not a fan of cooking. I believe that there is not enough genuine laughter anymore, the kind that comes from the pit of your stomach and almost, if not, sends you to tears. And laughter is definitely one of the things that is medicine for the soul.
